The 47th BCS Application date has been changed as the BPSC not issued notification regarding reducing the application fee. It is expected that, interested candidates can submit their application from Sunday, December 29, 2024, through the official website bpsc.teletalk.com.bd. Previously, the online application was scheduled to begin on Tuesday (December 10, 2024).
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the application process for 47th BCS Exam just one day before it was set to begun. The decision was taken due to the absence of an official notification on reducing application fees.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Administration issued the notification on yesterday, Wednesday (December 11) in this regard. As per this, the application will be start today, Thursday, otherwise on Sunday next week.
PSC’s Public Relations Officer, S.M. Matiur Rahman state that, “The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) will confirmed the start date of the 47th BCS application after the discussion. Candidates will be informed through a notification by Thursday.”
A relevant source mentioned that PSC’s chairman and members will be discussing the matter today, Thursday (December 12). The final decision will be taken regarding the application start date, and candidates will be notified through a press notification.
Know how to apply for 47th BCS Exam
- First of all, you have to visit the official website: bpsc.teletalk.com.bd
- Select the position according to your qualifications.
- Input your Educational Qualification
- Upload Color Photo (300 x 300 pixel) and Signature (300 x 80)
- Input the applicant’s mobile number
- Re-check all the information carefully
- Click on the “Submit” option
- Finally “Print” the application copy
Applicants must pay the application fee within 72 hours of the online submission. They are advised to send two SMS on 16222 for pay the fee.
- 1st SMS: BCS <Space> User ID
Example: BCS NMDHN send to 16222
After sending the SMS, you will get a confirmation SMS from the official number. Then you have to send the 2nd message.
- 2nd SMS: BCS <Space> YES <Space> PIN
Example: BCS YES 62464261 sent to 16222
Note that, BPSC has published the 47th BCS Circular on November 28, 2024. According to the circular, a total of 3,688 will be recruited in various positions. The application start date was scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
It is said that 627 will be recruited in general cadres, 1,833 in professional or technical cadres, 919 in general education, 36 in government teacher training colleges and government Alia Madrasahs, and 12 in technical education positions.
